If the employer owns the computer, they own all the info that's on it also. They can install any software they wish. In theory, everything on that computer is/should be, only work/company related. Employees shouldn't expect privacy on company owned computers and networks. If the employee wants privacy, bring a lap top from home if the employer allows it. Also use an outside Wi-Fi internet connection for internet access on lunch break. Such as at internet cafe's or coffee shops. I'm not saying I like or agree but that is pretty much how it is here in the States. If you meant an employees personal computer that they own, then no.

If the employer is the one that installs it, then it is not illegal. The company owns the computer, so they are free to do what they want with it. I'm pretty sure there's a phrase in the contract that says something about the company's "properties."

Your complaint is very petty. Anyone that assumes truth in advertising is foolish. They offer a great deal for those that sample their software. What is there to really complain about? If you don't want it don't buy it.

Can one still upgrade from SAS Free to SAS Pro from within the program itself?
Price still being $19.95? Or has this changed to $29.95?

I would like to say that I have a SAS Pro license on one computer and a free version on another. They are both great products and their support forum has always been top notch. But as far as the One day only lifetime license for $19.99, I just wish they would not advertise that when it is essentially not 100% true. This is supposed to be a program that is against adware (false advertising programs, etc) and the credibility of the company is effected by this sort of advertisement. Their product sells itself because of its outstanding ability. There is also a huge following of satisfied users that recommend it religiously, and with good reason. I feel word of mouth is the best way to advertise as it comes from actual satisfied users. But that word of mouth also has to qualify reccomendations by saying the advertising of $19.99 is for any day, not just that day. The casual user may have reservations against purchasing if they find the advertisement is not 100% legit. But that is just my 2 cents worth.

Agreed. If a hacker gets his hands on one of these programs he can get away with nearly anything.

I agree completely with acr1965's assessment of the dishonesty in SUPERAntiSpyware's marketing. Not only may the casual user think twice about purchasing SUPERAntiSpyware, but so may the professional user. Indeed, I refuse to recommend SUPERAntiSpyware to my clients for the reasons cited by acr1965. It's a shame, because my experience with the program itself has been excellent.

they have changed their website and the marketing is different.
But If you email me I can still get you program and lifetime updates for $19.95 for a period of time because i am a reseller for superantispyware. You can email me only because i need to send you a link and instructions. I will not put the link in here. Private Msg me with your email address and I will send you the link. I will only give it to you and I need proof that you actually purchased it. When you do this I will email you a pdf on how to install it and use the program (this pdf is worth $20 but i will give it to you for free only if you purchase the software)

You refuse to recommend us because we need to have income to support development - what a great service to your clients.

I guess we could just pull the special and free edition and just go with full priced paid model, renewed yearly like Spyware Doctor, Webroot and Counterspy.

I have been following Superantispyware from the beginning. I just think Nick must be doing something right. So to all the doubters, just ignore them Nick and keep on keeping on. :)

Quote from a favourite song, which I won't name:-

"Don't let the uncertainty turn you around
(The world keeps turning around and around)"

I appreciate that very much! It's sad, many people (including unnamed members of this forum) have really "turned" on us since I am not available that their beck and call due to how busy we are with all the new infections and product advancements!

I really do appreciate all of your support and I do try and answer all e-mails and forum posts I can get to!!!!!

or you can stop the free forums that you offer for both Paid and FREE versions, stop helping those who have the free version and tell them if they want help they have to pay for the paid version (like the ones you posted and add AVG and Symantic to the list), fire all your staff and make a lousy program that crashes everyone;s computers and finds nothing to get rid of. :p
