Can I use Pegasus mail to get my hotmail? If not does anyone know of an email client besides OE or Outlook that can?

    Hello notageek
    Have you seen Hotmail popper?

Also we have heard some people who have successfully used Hotmail in the Mail Monitor plugin for True Launch Bar.

    Best wishes

Hi QSection. I have PopPeeker downloaded but when I used it before it was buggy. I also tried Hotmail Popper and didn't like it at all. I just want a new Email Client. I'm tired of using OE6. But I want an email Client that will check my hotmail accounts also along with my regular email account.

    Any particular reason?

MS owns hotmail. If you are to going to trust MS with storing your email, you might as local use their email client?

I only use hotmail for forums and what not. I use my ISP email account for other mail. I been having problems with my OE crashing lately. I wanted something that don't crash as much.

Incredimail is the only one I know that fetches hotmail.
    But that has other disadvantages.
It is a resource hog among others.
Maybe in combination with e-prompter? So you will only have to launch Incredimail when necessary.

    Regards,

    Pieter

Thanks Pieter. I just found the Foxmail webpage and it claims to be able to get hotmail. Is foxmail any good? I'm going to go to Poppeekers website and see if they have a newer version that's not a buggy and if so I'm going to give Poppeeker another try becuase it not olny gets hotmail it gets Yahoo also.

Found this topic because I am seeking for another e-mail client myself - the reason is that OE and Outlook are so prone to abuse. And I don't like either Netscape or Eudora.

What else is there on the (free) market? I started using Firebird/Firefox a few months ago, and I'm more than happy. I'm flying. If I only found an e-mail client that was so cute, all of my problems in life would be solved...

Well maybe not all, but a large chunk of them. I'm also searching for back-up solution for e-mail, since I'm saving all my e-mails since forewer, and it's a considerable pile of bytes.

    Anybody?

I've tried it. It has a few fans, but I don't think it's a very good email client for the security and privacy concerned user.
