Thanks, I wish everyone here the same and something more.

Here, in Slovakia, we welcomed new money, EURO. You can see our 301 SKK and almost the same value in 10 EUR (1 € = 30,126 SKK). We'll see, what good or bad this will bring to us.

Lol! I always found it weird why some countries have such inflated numbers for low amounts of money. I think Hong Kong also has the Hong Kong dollar which is very high.

But Euro in Slovakia is really funny:) The coins are new,and when you have about 10 of them, the gold ones looks exactly like the coins from some fairytales in tv! when some bad guy stole the bag of coins from the rich ones:D

But the funniest was the first day, when everyone was looking at their hands and they were confused from the coins:Dmostly the older people:)

Actually I can say that I didn't notice growth. Costs are the same as before 1st January or they round prices down or up (cinema, ski centers), where it's hard to work with many coins.

Problem is that coins are similar - the same theme and colour on 1,2,5 cents; 10, 20, 50 cents; 1 and 2 euro. Bad is the size of 1 euro and 50 cent, when 50 cent is bigger than 1 euro. 1,2 cents are very small. Politicians have ended using of 10, 20 "halier" of Slovak koruna before few years and now it is all back. Each old coin was different than others. You can see them here. We had got banknotes 20 SK, 50 SK, 100 SK - they have got smaller value than 5 EUR, too, so when buy few things, you can go with few coins.

Time will show, what good and bad come to us.

    Folks,

This is a computer security and support site, not a currency exchange. Let's move back to the nominal thread topic.
