Can you not bring up Task Manager and terminate the processes? Then rescan?

How about a Scan in Safe Mode?

CTRL, ALT and Delete brings up Task Manager.

Find process on the list, right click it and select End Process...

PaulB2005 already answered u, but here we go again. Ctrl + Alt + Del (those are buttons on ur keyboard) opens task manager, look for the process and right click on it (with ur mouse), then click on End Process and u are done.

Ok, so it seems NOD32 detected it but it didn't clean it, so, as Marcos said, u could try the new beta version 4, it's better in removing malware, or if u dont want to install the beta, u can use this http://www.malwarebytes.org/
It's a good free program for removing malware.

Malwarebytes IS NOT an antivirus, so u won't have a problem if u install it, u don't need to uninstall Eset Smart Security.

Maybe you can reboot to safe mode and then use nod32 to clean them.

jason, i would turn off system restore first (right click on My Computer > Properties > System Restore > choose an option Turn off system restore on all drives), then restart your computer and press F8 on your keyboard before Windows start to load - this will bring a menu to your screen, choose the one at the top - 'Safe Mode'. Once you are in safe mode run Smart Security scan.

google translator is a wonderful thing

Of course, the beta uses its own username/password as it updates from a different location than the full version. I wonder if there's a reason for going back to v. 3.0.672, but you can uninstall it and install v3 from scratch.
