Can I safely exclude HIBERFIL.SYS and PAGEFILE.SYS?

Hello, I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit SP1 and I use TI 11.

I want to set up a monthly full backup and a daily (or twice-daily) incremental (or differential; I haven't decided) backup.

I have 8 GB of RAM in this system; so as you might guess, there are two system files that could increase my TI backup files' disk requirements.

My HIBERFIL is 8 GB; exactly as big as my RAM. My PAGEFILE actually is in two places; I have a full-sized 8 GB one all by its lonesome on its own partition that is not backed up, but I have a smaller, half-gig "snap dump" sized one on my C drive.

I have limited free space on my target backup partition, so if I can do this safely, I would prefer to back up neither one. My logic is that if I have to rebuild my system, I would boot it up; deactivate/re-activate hibneration (thereby allowing Vista to rebuild HIBERFIL manually) and re-allocate my virtual storage settings (thereby allowing Vista to rebuild PAGEFILE), each with its own reboot or both with the same reboot.

Is it safe to exclude these two files from my TI backups, or should I consider including them in at least the full backup only?

They are automatically excluded by TI, only a placeholder is used in the backup file.

Moreover you can exclude unnecessary folders or files by their extension from the image using Source Files Exclusion option while creating backup. See user guide for more details.
