Web-Shield: Online Armor/NOD32 - which one?

Almost every FW and AV Program has it on board: Web-Shields
Only one should be active, but which one is best?
The Web-Shield that comes with Online Armor or the one that comes with NOD32 AV?
I am not really convinced of its use and have both turned off.
With NOD32 AV, I only have the HTTP/POP3-Ports checked.
Any hints?

Personally would run them both, 1 is a webshield and the other a webscanner so they arent exactely the same things but have the same goals - stop the bogie from hitting your disc

 

I'm running both products but tend to have Web Shield on OA turned off. Not because of NOD32 but because of my FF add-ons etc (NoScript, Java turned off), Spywareblaster and A-squared surf protection which all block a lot from happening.

Whenever I've switched OA Web Shield on there is a noticeable slowdown on loading pages, another reason for the decision.

 

I take it you reported the slowdown on their forum?

 

Nope. I've noticed the slowdown with a few similar programs and sort of expect it. If I felt like I needed the WebShield I may have persevered more though ......
