XP FW add on?

Somewhere in the forums is mention of a program which adds more functionality to the XP FW. Have done a search and also Googled but ran across several. Not sure about any of them.

There's only a Vista version now, but you can find the old free version on Softpedia:

which probably offers the same functionality you can have without it.
I don't know how the paid version worked.

 

Had already given the free vers. a try. Nothing really special about it.

Do`t think I will pay for a discontinued vers.

I wouldn't either. And you shouldn't expect anything special from these things, other than a better GUI to control what you can do already, and a tab to see the logs.
