I'm trying to make a bootable antimalware cd using ultimate cd for win.
Can I use Windows XP Media Center Edition CD instead of Windows XP SP2 CD?
How do I know if my cd(Windows xp media center edition) has sp2 or not?

Try Ultimate Boot CD for Windows, you get 3-4 AVs and 3-4 AS programs out of the box, no need to work too hard.

Thanks for the resource, it is great; I'll burn the ISO tonight. Do you know if the anti-spyware and anti-virus tools have online update like Dr Web live CD for example?

    Peace.

My personal warning for this, it destroyed the licence of SuperAntispyware Pro in my pc, also the SAS & A2 from the UBCD found something that never existed...

I was just curious if I can use the bootable cd that I've made on computers that do not have Ultimate Boot cd for Win installed.

The answer is yes. Whether it's legal or not is another question.

I suppose technically you should have another dedicated Windows licence for UBCD4Win in those circumstances, which I'm sure every user does being an honest, upright bunch.:p
