NOD32 for Exchange has been stuck at 2.7 for some time now. Can anyone inform me whether NOD32 will be releasing a newer version anytime soon?

I know its been ages. I wouldn't hold your breath.

I am now using a different product for exchange and NOD32 for the network. Its safer that way anyway as you then have 2 different scanners protecting your network.

    Cheers

Why do you need a new version when the current one works just fine? XMON for me (and several other clients) has been more reliable than any other scanner. It's never let a virus through - it just sits there and does its job.

By using a different product you're not getting the full benefit of using a product like XMON.

In response to the OP though, a new version is due out for Exchange Server very soon (in Beta to begin with, followed by a final release in 2009).

Correct I am getting the full benefit of using a different program.

XMON just doesnt fit into the current NOD32 infrasturcture. and it needs v2 of the nod on the server
It makes installing an SBS site overly complicated different download mirrors etc.

Of course you could argue that v2 is fine but I suggest we don't go down that road.

    Regards

    Mike
