Which field in Spyware Blaster can I uncheck to stop object errors for people who are using the PeoplePC ISP internet provider?

It took me a week to figure out Spyware Blaster was the problem. I unchecked all items, (SO NO PROTECTION AT ALL), and the object error went away.

So I assume PeoplePC uses some type of adware or spyware.

Anyways, it's ok, as my client likes PeoplePC.

You can try removing protection for only "eStart(2)", which should prevent the error message from being displayed.

However, you may want to take a look at these two forum threads:

    Be Warned of PeoplePC's Toolbar
    &
Easy removal of PeoplePC toolbar! (and a rant...)

Apparently the following URL may allow PeoplePC users to remove the toolbar easily: http://home.peoplepc.com/download/uninstall/index.asp

(So it would sound like having the toolbar installed isn't necessary and can actually lead to problems.)

    I hope this helps!

    Best regards,

Your Estart(2) unselection fixed the object error. THANKS!

and on a side note for other People PC users, to disable the People PC bar, do the following

Directly from a PC People tech, and IT WORKS

Also, we understand your frustration with the PeoplePal toolbar.
While it is a boon to many of the new-to-the-Internet customers
that we have, our more seasoned Internet surfers find it a bit
frustrating. Our next version of the software will feature a
built-in uninstaller, but in the mean time, here are instructions
for removing it from your system.

    Instructions for Windows 2000/XP:

Be sure to type what is in parenthesis{} exactly as written

Click on the start menu button and select run
type: {cmd} in the window and hit ok
This puts you into a command line.
Type: {cd\} and hit enter to get to the root of C
Type: {cd windows} and hit enter to move to the Windows directory
Type: {cd system32} and hit enter to get to the System32 directory
    Type: {regsvr32.exe /u "C:\program files\isp50\bin\bandobject.dll}
    and hit enter.
The next time you restart your computer, the PeoplePal toolbar
    will be gone.

    Instructions for Windows 98/ME:

Be sure to type what is in parenthesis{} exactly as written

Click on the start menu button and select run
type: {command} in the window and hit ok
This puts you into a command line.
Type: {cd\} and hit enter to get to the root of C
Type: {cd windows} and hit enter to move to the Windows directory
Type: {cd system} and hit enter to get to the System directory
    Type: {regsvr32.exe /u "C:\program files\isp50\bin\bandobject.dll}
    and hit enter.
The next time you restart your computer, the PeoplePal toolbar
    will be gone.
