    thank you very much.
Will take some time, am in the process of backing up all my c"drive using NTI Shadow so will have most of the stuff on native format.
Then will go ahead with the cleanup and reinstall of V.10.
Will take some time, after I am done will post a report/update so other people can use the experience, again than you and all others that pitched in
    David
    PS
I did sent a request for that Safe CD version, I did not realize is not longer included when making a rescue CD

    Mudcrab and Mark
thank you Mark for the link on how to uninstall and cleanup, very easy and logical.
There was only one file that refused to balk was a .dll suspect it is shared by other program, otherwise eveything was clean, installed V.10 from scratch with my CD, and was surprised the install was incomplete and after several attempts decided to forget about that, too bad because V.10 gave me such a good service.
ThenInstalled V.11 since the system was clean, this time once installed V.11 did create a BU file and run a restore, again was painfully slow (about 3 hrs for about 25GBtib file.
Unfortunally was busy when finished by the time I returned was a blue screen,(no the windows death screen) but the TIblue with a frozen mouse.
I resigned to see a dead disk on booting so I shutoff the power, reboot and somehow the system froze After the recovery was complete and did not want to continue with the normal sequency.
The moral of the story is that the system installed more functional after the cleanup and that is something to think before installing.
On the other hand the prgm. remains unstable and therefore cannot depend on it in case of real need, so will have to accept that there is something wrong to what we dedicated multiple hours with your help with no satisfactory final and now must get a life.
Will be a long time before I decide for an Acronis product.
    thanks to all again
    David

I assume you installed the Safe Media (Safe Mode) add-on after you downloaded it. When you create the CD with Media Builder, you should have the option to include both the Full and Safe versions. The Safe Mode version will be displayed in the Acronis menu when you boot the TI CD.

The menu you display looks more like a custom build version than one created with Media Builder.

Well, I explained tech support I wanted the file for Safe and got this ISO file called "TrueImage8101_multiparam_Standard_english_il", is about 20,128 KB in size and when burned the CD from that file I get this bootable CD with that menu.
I did ran it, it boots, I selected the first choice, brings the bootable cd ATI screen, what I noticed is that when selected the Restore option from the screen it did go right ahead, faster, recognized all drives, including the USB external that normaly the bootable made out of the v.11 some times will not recognize, all in all a more stable bootable CD.
I did not try to finish the restore just in case and wanted to ask you first.
Also did not try the other options for obvious reasons.
From your comments, you think they gave me the wrong file??
    David
PS not sure what the Media Builder is

If the ISO file that Acronis gave you works correctly, then you should be okay using it. It's not wrong, it's just different.

Media Builder is the program that Acronis uses to create the bootable rescue media (CD, flashdrive, etc.). You can access it from the Acronis menu or from TI's menu.

The Safe Media plugin is a download available from your Acronis account (in the TI 11 section). You install it and then you can select both the Full and Safe Mode versions to include on your CD when you use the Media Builder program.

thank you very much for your patience, I agree, it works and that is great, as mentioned earlier, cannot imagine computing without the safety of knowing can recover from a failure or problem.
    take care
    David
PS just went back to my account, never realize there was the plugin for the Safe Media.
