    Just upgraded to 2009.

Try and Decide is only allowing me to protect one Drive letter, not all of them as it did in 11.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

I have got a case running with Tech. support; but thought I would ask here.

Help file says to check the check boxes of the drives to protect but there are no check boxes in the dialog and only the currently highlighted drive is set.

What do you mean by 'protect'? T&D is a form of virtual environment, which uses spare hard drive space, unless you have dynamic disks I don't see how it can operate over more than one partition.

TI 2009 will currently only let you select one partition. I don't think the help file was updated when Acronis made the T&D changes just before the release.

    Well that's a useless change!
Given the fact that almost every install sticks stuff in "Documents and settings" and/or the Windows folder hierarchy how can you roll back anything not installed on the C: drive?

AFIK that is not the way it was in Acronis 11.

You can choose to redirect the T&D folder to another place. The advantage now is that it allows you to reboot and still keep the virtual environment intact thereby satisfying Windows registry requirements for most programs, which v11 didn't allow.

    Thanks for the reply.
I don't quite understand what you mean by
How does that enable me to protect my entire environment (all partitions) from something I am testing?
I don't care about having to re-boot as long as I know that nothing has been compromised.
At least let me retain the old option even if the re-boot enhancement has its own different benefits.

    Hello all,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

MudCrab is right, current build of Acronis True Image Home 2009 does support only one partition with Try&Decide. Our Development Team is aware of this situation, and most probably we will include a fix onto one of next builds.

We highly recommend that when you log into your account, and go to subscriptions at the left, you check mark the following two items: 'Notify me about critical updates for my registered products' and 'Notify me about upgrades for my products'.

    Thank you.
