    Sys: Vista 64bit, sp1

Using the trial version of ATI-2009 Home version.

Created a recovery (rescue) cd but it had the message
"No autostart available". The checkbox to make it bootable
was greyed out and i could not select it. Is this particular
    to the trial version only?

How do i make a "Bootable" recovery cd?

Follow on question - If my system won't boot and this cd is
not bootable then how do i do a restore using this cd?

ATI 9 was great, this one appears to be cluttered up with
some things that i dont think is needed. No more
bells and whistles please (just an observation).

Still deciding if ATI 2009 is right for me.

    thanks,
    savagcl

If ver 9 works for you, stick with it. I'm still using ver 9 build 3677. The boot CD works with Vista 32 bit, not sure if it will work with the 64 bit one.

Thanks but i'd rather keep thr system up to date.
Someone told me that ati 9 wouldn't work with a 64 bit
    system.

Still looking for an answer from ATI about how to make cd
    bootable.......

    thanks again for replying,
