Hello: I had this for probably 5 years and this is the first time this has happened. I cannot install ad-aware Please see attachement for Error message and if anyone can tell me what it means?
I am Administrator and the only one that use's this pc.

Dont know if this has anything to do with it or not, but I just did a system recovery and put SP3 on the pc for the first time! Please let me know what you think and Thanks, Tom

tomteeth, I believe many Wilders members (myself included) have uninstalled Ad-Aware due to the program not keeping up with current threats, so your best bet might be to post your issue in their FORUM if you need fast help.

Your screen capture shows quite a lot of open software operating in the background and that could interfere with the installation process as well. Here's a pinned post about their Install Guide for Ad-Aware 2008 from their forum.

Firebytes beat me to it and yes, these 2 are the ones. They are updated daily and both will handle today's threats!
Do follow the Ad-Aware uninstall instructions on the post I gave you.
