Clearly I am not getting anywhere with my request for help. So what I will do is post a message every day until I get somewhere.

Adaptec SCSI RAID card, RAID 0 array
    NIVIDIA SATA RAID array

ATI Home, v8 - 10 supported (Boot mode)
ATI Home v11 NOT supported (Boot mode)

    Why?
Am I going mad or something?
What is going through the thought process of your product development that removes supported products?
Am I ever going to get a reply to my support requests?
Do you actually care about the frustration and annoyance caused to your long term customers?

This is not an Acronis forum, per se, but a Wilders forum. Acronis folks do view it when they have the time but mostly it's just us folks, us users, that are here. Repeated posting would just be bad etiquette and wouldn't change Acronis support policies.

If you want to impact Acronis, rather than us users, try asking for a refund, or using other support services, or being patient until someone can help either here or from Acronis.

I sent Acronis support a request on November 12, 2008 and still haven't had any response. Click here for more info on my problem. Unfortunately, this users forum will only help if it is a user problem, as far as program problems, Acronis will need to do that, if you can figure out a way to get them to respond. Good Luck!!

The best way to get some support from Acronis is to use their Live chat.

The only way you'll ever hear from the Acronis Support Team is to use Live Chat. It seems as though their Email support has shut down for some reason, but that's for another day.

Well I tried the live chat and was surprised to find I started receiving support of sorts within a few minutes wait. To cut a long story short I spent about 40 minutes mucking around installing PE builder only to find that –

    1. The Acronis instructions don’t work for True Image Home
    2. PE builder does not support Vista and its impossible to get True Image and this application talking to each other in the way the instructions imply

So in short A TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME.

This situation is a farce and I refuse to play this game any more. I am fed up paying good money for so called “upgrades” that take away the basic functionality of the backup application I require. I moved to Acronis from Symantec a few years ago for much the same reasons, now it seems that Acronis is adopting the same piss poor, shoddy product development and customer support model.

Version 12 has been removed from my system and will NOT be returning along with any other Acronis product. I will make do with v11 until I can find an alternative product I can rely on through the development cycles. I will be applying for a refund from Acronis and will not be gracing them with my custom again – I suggest others vote with their feet in a similar manner.
