Yesterday I installed Online Armor 3.0.0.190.Free. Today Nod32 3.0.669.0 trial.

Immediately upon completing installation, Nod32 pops up a box:

    What gives? =)

    Hello,

can you please specify what was your virus DB version at that time? Does it still happen with current one?

    Thanks.

    DB: 3231

When I scan even just the memory, I get the popup.

Edit: I think something is wrong with the DB, since its dated 20080701, and I did an "update" where it said that no update was nessecary. Hmm... I'll try to see if I can manually apply the latest.

Edit: Hmm, it won't let me update. Just says that 3231 is the latest DB when 3661 is. Do you have an update server I could try? The list is empty.

Well, I click the link you supplied. Then I click the "Free 30-day trial (http://www.eset.com/download/free_trial_download.php)" in the lower right. I am then at a page where it says:

ESET Smart Security for Win XP/2000/Vista (32-bit)
You need to have credentials to download ESET Smart Security. Click here to request them. An email with username and password will be sent to you shortly. 3.0.672 21.2 MB Download

    ESET NOD32 3.0 Antivirus for Win XP/2000/Vista (32-bit) 3.0.669 17 MB Download

    "ESET NOD32 3.0 Antivirus for Win XP/2000/Vista (32-bit) 3.0.669" is what I downloaded.

Well something screwed up then it should give you the current version. I never experienced that before through its trial but I have the paid version know so if I were to uninstall and reinstall its a different install area for purchased downloads where I have to enter a valid username/password.When I ran the trial before purchase it was 672 if memory serves me.
