Can not install Acronis True Image 12 on Windows 7

    Cannot seem to install Acronis Trueimage 12 on Windows 7. Error during install. Can anybody confirm this?

    Well as Windows 7 hasn't even got to release candidate stage it is probably hoping a bit for all AV, Firewall or other utilities to work as yet.

    Thank you for your interesting in Acronis True Image

    Officially Acronis True Image Home 2009 latest build (9464) supports the following operating systems:

    - Windows Vista (including x64 Edition);
    - Windows 2000 Professional SP4;
    - Windows XP SP2;
    - Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.

    Windows seven is not in the list of supported operating systems.

    lol. It would hoping a bit for that stuff to all work with an MS OS when it's in the RTM stage much less the RC stage ;)

    I have ATI 12 installed in Windows 7 Ultimate, build 6801, 32 bit. I cannot get it to install in the 64 bit version.
    It is the only program/hardware I have in Vista that I cannot get to install in Win7 64 bit.

    Considering other company's have already started to support windows 7 in it's current state, you can see the company's that care for their customers and those with their heads in the sand.
    To name 2 officially supporting, C-Cleaner, Iobit Smart Defrag.
    Lets hope Acronis get into gear soon - or they will be left behind! Which given the state of the bugs in the current software v12/2009 may not be a bad thing..
