    HOLY ~Phrase removed - Ron~, did spybot FINALLY get a GUI make over? i thought they would never do it, i thought it would be 10 years later and still the same GUI :p o well good thing its getting changed, definitely needed a refresh

    Yes.
    Well, it is all about the GUI, isn't it? :rolleyes:
    What this indicates to me, mainly, is that development is still very much alive and well at the home of what must be one of the oldest antispyware applications.

    I know... I was kinda surprised too! I thought same GUI would be there forever.

    According to this forum thread, post #9, they are hoping to have the first beta version of Spybot-S&D 2.0 out this year. Check out the weekly blog and project tools milestone on the first post.

    The important thing is that they improve the detection. Even SAS or MBAM don't have such a beauty user interface but they're extremely effective against malware.
    It's time to add some kind of heuristic detection, realtime protection and make TeaTimer more intelligent.
