    Mac OS really looks old fashioned compared to some 3D desktops distro's on unix :p

    I failed to mention that my Anti-Spyware includes BOTH MBAM & SAS which is a natural. Avira AV on this this particular untit produced problems unforseen but that OK, i have NOD32 do run On-Demands.

    Hey!

    When are you developers gonna piece for some of us a program where we can enter any conceivable 3 letter entension we might imagination and finally stake your top claim in such a multi-coverage file protection like HIPS easily already offers?

    Your common sense won't protect you from a legitimate site that has been infected :}

    If he ever finds one. getting infected by visiting legitimate sites requires a bit of bad luck and getting infected in general requires a certain talent. Of course risks exist but they are wildly exagerated in my view

    I'll agree! I'll never understand how some of ya'll think that you need 10 or more security type programs on your computers,it's kinda obsessive in my opinion. If your looking at high risk websites,fine,but I really do not understand the why of having tons of security apps for something your supposed to be able to use on a daily basis.

    I've been on the net for 10 + years,and hardly ever get infected with viruses,spyware / malware, is there something I'm missing here o_O

    Anyways,here's my set-up,in signature :thumb:

    I can try it out but i do expect & fear some conflicts because i won't part with either RTD or EQS w/PG3.5 + SandboxIE and Avira.

    But i can always set up a restore point and see what happens. I'm deadly serious with this 3 letter extension deal as well as ADS that folks are forgetting but are very active in many malwares stills, especially rootkits/hiders.

    Common sense has too many false positives and a low detection rate.

    Have you tried Shadow Defender (if you don't want any AVs running or any slowdown)?

    Let it continue after reboot. Right-click and 'commit' any files/documents you want to save. The download is a 30-day trial. :)

    I'm bored too.

    I think for a while i'm going to lock/seal Physical Memory/DLL Injections/Process Launch Alerting and maybe even SUA again and let malware run amuck. I get a charge out of watching trash coding go beserk because it can't intereact like it's pre-programmed to do from just a bare minimum of hardening procedures rather then the usual group of multiple apps and an AV.

    Hey Malware programmers, YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS :D :D
