I have the 2008 version installed.Is this much better than the version i'm using?

 

Doesn't seem like much new but I'll download the the trial and give it a shot

 

Please tell if you found something new of value in this 2009 version, i used to go with TU 2008 before mostly for some tweaking tasks but i`m currently not running it.

I don't have the same luck with their newly implemented GUI:

I have TuneUp Utilities 2008, to me it looks like not too much has changed.

 

I've read that their file and reg cleanup tools are very good, but what do you guys think about their defragger?

 

Used to use this software a while back but never found that it did that much for my PC. From what I can see of the latest version not much has changed over 2008 version.

File & Registry Cleaners are not bad but nothing to write home about IMHO...there others that are as good out there. Same goes for the Defrag tool.

I switched to another player that I, personally, am happier with. But I do not think that you can go wrong with TuneUp Utilities...and you can IMHO opinion do far worse.

 

Baldrick, which program(s) did you find that did a better job?
