I kinda like his reviews. Sure they aren't the perfect controlled conditions and we aren't checking for every exact file that was left but it's a very good indication what can user expect when it comes to cleaning that mess.
As you could see not all antiviruses performed well, some fell into infinite loops, some took ages to install, others cleaned all the visible stuff but failed at redirections, some crashed all the time and others just failed to clean even the visible stuff. Besides, these reviews were never meant to actually measure detection, they just show how anti-malware products actually work/react on real infected systems. Nothing more, nothing less. It also shows some basic functionality, interface design and features (and how to operate them).
So yeah, he's doing a pretty good job posting those videos.
Keep up the good work man! :D

Thanks man! I really enjoy showing people what they are actually going to get and I'll be testing anti-malware applications until there is no more malware...so I'll be testing forever!!! :D

I think comodo AV as no real reliable tests for it, it's best to find out yourself like you did. And I do want to mention 1 file for testing is not satifactory and that spyware doctor sometimes produces a lot of FP's. check virustotal.com to be sure.

Ah, the view from Mount Olympus must be grand this time of year. Even so, a few good points. ;)

I think its a point that many of us "deadly" here on the forum are looking to find the software that will protect us the most. We dont have the knowledge how to test or to find out how well a product actually does that.

So i personally are very thankfull for a site like remove-malvare.com that tests in a way that i can understand and think over when i need a program to buy!

There are plenty of sites that do tests and are paid of long time!(pcmag for example) We do need a site like remove-malware!!! We dont need a bunch of people taking it for granted that everyones "understands" and "know too" !!
