    Hi Juergen

    Especially for you I have just installed a test version of MS Office Small Business 2007. ;)
    Normally I'm working with Office 2003 or even 97. :)

    However my backup of the outlook.pst file in the directory C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\XXX\Lokale Einstellungen\Anwendungsdaten\Microsoft\Outlook finished sucessfully.

    Are you using the same source location?

    Kind regards

    Beat

    Hello fazerjam,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    We are sorry for delayed response.

    Please make sure you use the latest build (9615) of Acronis True Image Home 2009. To get access to updates you should first register your software.

    If the latest build doesn't solve the problem, please collect some information to let us investigate it thoroughly:

    Please create Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

    Please also collect the following information:
    - Exact title of E-mail client (e.g. Microsoft Outlook Express 6.0, Microsoft Outlook 2003);
    - Quantity of user profiles;
    - Amount of the accounts for these profiles;
    - If the accounts within a single profile are of different types, please provide the amount of the accounts of each type. (E.g. profile [XXXX] contains three imap accounts and two pop3 accounts);

    Please also collect the application log of the operation:
    - run the program;
    - select Show log on the toolbar or from the Tools menu;
    - select the corresponding log;
    - click "Save the log entry to file" (the diskette icon).

    Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will do our best to investigate the problem and provide you with a solution.

    Also, a possible workaround is to back up the .pst file directly using files/folders backup type.

    Thank you.

    Heck, how to find out which version is installed? I could not find an "about" dialog...

    Since years the true image has a very "unique" user interface. With "unique" I mean non standard and totally counter intuitive....

    Incredible! I just figured out how to get to the about dialog:

    - hit the "alt" key
    - then a menu bar appears above the toolbar
    - there is help->about

    Really, Acronis, please hire some UI experts!

    I guess you don't use Vista or Office 2007 which according to my friend works the same way.
