:Di wish it had the alblity to encrypt and burn cd's with full encryption for your files and programs

basicly as soon as you put cd it prompts you for password

second some type of protection so they cant even read the cd or peek in to it by simply clicking on cd rom drive

i saw an application that only hid files on the cd but if you open the cd rom icon manuealy they can see the files just couldnt open them

thats lame i dont want no one seeing jack lol

my other wish list thers a program out there that already does this but not with strong encription CryptoSuite can offer

heres what it can do and i love to see it in CryptoSuite

not only encrypts your data and files for safe keeping or for secure transfer across the net, it also hides them in places that on the surface appear totally innocent, such as picture or sound files, or web pages. These types of files are a perfect disguise for sensitive information. Nobody, not even your wife, boss, or a hacker would realize that your important papers or letters are stored in your last holiday pictures, or that you use your personal web page to exchange messages or secret documents. With Invisible Secrets 4 you may encrypt and hide files directly from Windows Explorer, and then automatically transfer them by e-mail or via the Internet.

    Features:
Hides your sensitive data into innocent files, so nobody can find them.
Features five innocent carriers for hidding: JPEG, PNG, BMP, HTML and WAV.
Strong encryption algorithms (AES - Rijndael, Blowfish, Twofish, GOST, Cast128, RC4, etc.).
Password Manager with a real - random password generator
Secure data transfer over the network and internet.
An integrated Shredder (DoD 5220.22-M compliant) to destroy files and folders beyond recovery.
An Application Locker to password protect any application installed on your computer.
Possibility to create a package with encrypted content and to send it by email.
Allows the secure transfer of passwords between two computers using an encrypted internet line.
A Shell Integrated Cryptboard - use it like a basket for storing filenames and make various operations on them in a single step

ps id pay 60 bucks if crypto also did the following as albove plus what it already does

Steganography is something I want to add to CryptoSuite somewhere down the line, since it is sometimes very necessary to hide data like that.

Secure data transfer is going to be added very soon (over the next 2 versions), with some cool features in it. CryptoSuite already has a secure file shredder, or did you mean something else?

Your other feature-lists do sound pretty good to, I will keep them in mind!

    Thanks Blaze.

    Hi there!

Yeah the one thing that has stopped me from buying CS until now is that I'd really like to se a password manager inside the package! :)

There's nothing stopping me with CS as i like it very much for what it offers already, more to come.
Aren't there nice free password managers which work and which' password file you can keep encrypted?

Jooske, I think a lot of ppl prefer to have this type of thing integrated into their encryption suites, especially with CS's very highly secure encryption methods.

It might be nice to use the Human Interface technology as used in Process Guard as a door guarding the pasword area.

Yes of course, i would prefer a whole suite, as it is already with all the ncie tools i want in one. But i just mean, as long as it's not there yet, i would not be stopped with the whole product and would look for a temporary in between solution till that part is added. Imagine all the measures we can take already to protect our data from any prying eyes (a repair, crash, other damage, snoopers, infections, intruders, if our system would get stolen, or we lose a removable disc with all kinds of data, etc etc etc, passwords, keyfiles, registration instructions, you name it!)
I know i trust only CS so a possible other solution would but be temporary till it is available in my trusted software.
Passwords can be replaced everywhere so easily once the tool gets included into CS .......

What sort of password manager? I guess you just mean somewhere to store all your passwords that is also protected by a password? :)

I could probably extend that to not only "protect" passwords but sentences and phrases you enter too.

Jason, I think that is what is in ppl's minds - Could the HI protection also be applied as another layer of protection to the passphrase area, as I think that would be very cool

Maybe a passwordgenerator too, with secure storage.

Just a reminder to CS users that the public server is still open 24/7 Works for trial users as well. :)

    Server 81.105.28.14 Port 5096 PW: pc2

I'm not always around but if you stick around for a while by leaving yourself connected someone usually drops in for a chat :)

    Yeah Jason, something like that!

I keep forgetting my passwords, especially those I seldom use (i.e. for Shareware-Update-Sites)...

At the moment I am using Password Corral which uses
    128-bit Diamond2 Block-Cipher

In PC you can enter something like Login, Password/Passphrase and comments.

 um im lost i was just meaning password encrypted cd with your personal media on it or personal docuements

basicly a fully layerd encrypted cd

when you stick it in it autorun's prompts you for password

acess is totaly denied with out the password

when trying to go in to my computer icon on desktop and peeking into the cd with open or explore option or double click you still get acess denied

untill you put in right password on the cd to extract or look at the content of the cd lol

there was a reallylame program out there but it didnt even come close to this

it was so easy to bypass i laughed for an hour plus i could see the contents of the cd

i was hopeing someday CryptoSuitecould include a burner option to encrypt and burn your data on to cd with its layer of protection lol

    i know it crazy

hey have you guys seen i think its called hd 100 its a file cd/flopy disk and paper and file shreder

its way cool it destroys cd's

    good for privacy

basicly if you ever need to destroy senctive files that you back upon cd

    perty cool hardware

    it shreds everything

Jookse try password safe, its very good.

It was oringally written by the creator of blowfish : http://www.schneier.com/passsafe.html since he stopped development a sourceforge group have taken over : http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/

Blaze if you have a plextor premium drive, they have the ability to encrypt a CD with a password, and its not viewable without the password, the premium drives also allow you to put a gig on a 700 meg CDR.

:)Another option is RoboForm $30, www.roboform.com, they not only keep your passwords in a 3DES database, they will autofill forms and passwords on websites as well. They also have a password generator, and other features.

A feature I would like to see in CryptoSuite.

Save checksums in file.hash and file.md5, etc.
Calculate checksums for entire directory in dir.hash.

    Thanks again Diamond

If I may, I would also like to suggest a feature that disallows a person from deleting an encrypted file. I was playing with the demo, and was surprised that I could delete the encrypted test.cse file that I made. (Or perhaps I am not understanding or using the program correctly.)

There is no stopping people deleting the secure archived CSE files. CryptoSuite's aim isn't to stop people from accessing files, rather it is to hide(encrypt) the real data to something which is unreadable without the correct password.
