Wanna know how many PC's I've cleaned up with different AV's installed which had been disabled by rogue apps?

    Let's just say - heaps.

Which app easily cleaned up the rogues - MBAM! ;)

This is the most epic failure of an AV "test" I have ever seen.

I think the people behind it are going to get a lot more than they bargained for..... as you can see the security vendors really do not appreciate being crapped on and have their products pirated at the same time :D

I will not comment their results, since I do not have their test database.

But, they really got the owner of that forum in big trouble.
I cannot understand if they challenged/invited the "security experts", as they called them, to join their forum and discuss there their results, because of stupidity or because they have the biggest balls I have ever seen. o_O

Both their domain provider Go Daddy and Domains by Proxy cannot protect them in this case...

I wish the owner of ssupdater.com good luck, because he is really going to need it...

1-2-3 was blacklisted only for its false positives, poor detection, poor protection and its reps failure to respond to Howe's questions. It's not on any blacklist AFAIK. But it's not a very good replacement for SpyBot.

I had our lawyer contact both their domain registrar and hosting company with evidence of illegal activity. The hosting company reacted first. The domain registrar (GoDaddy) did nothing, go figure.
