ESET NOD32 New Versions

When is the next big update for the software like version 4.0 or a version that includes a lot of the updates said in the recommend a feature thread?

 

The latest on v4.0 as far as I know is there will be a BETA release at some point Q4 2008. Currently the BETA version of Remote Administrator 3.0 is available via http://www.eset.eu/download/beta for testing.

There are no other updates on v4.0 though.

 

Are there any rumors on what v4.0 will bring to the table? When is Q4, what date?

 

Q4 = Quarter 4 (October, November & December)

I believe the only thing Paul are saying is that Q4=October-December to answer the question from LenovoT61B. As far as i know there is no official plans for version 4 yet. The next version could be 3.1 or maybe 3.5....i don't think Eset ever said anything about 4.0 or anything about a new big update and it's only speculation. I would be surprised if there is a new big version in the close future, but i really don't know so just guessing like everyone else.

 

I was kinda wondering the same. can't wait to see what will be next.

Details will be disclosed at the right time. It's been mentioned here that a new version will be released for testing in Q4 2008.

I guess since we're a 1/3rd into the fourth quarter, news is due soon.
