    rainbow1112,

My copies have just updated and read 2m+ signatures on the status bar so it looks like they have fixed the server issues.

Hi, I like very much DriveSentry: high protection, easy to use for friendly users.... So in a next future I think to use it to protect an educational LAN with an Internet connection, in a School.
So I would know: is DriveSentry a continuing project, that will go on in the future ? I ask it because in the past we saw a lot of good programs, like NeoavaGuard or ProSecurity, that were discontinued, and I need to be assured about DS

the advantage here is that as i was told by one of the global forum people that drivesentry very soon will be recognize by microsoft as antivirus software
and the other 2 are hips products and the competation is very hard for hips at the moment(some hips products been discontinue)

The DriveSentry icons are ugly! I have been using DriveSentry GoAnywhere on my iPod Video 30GB. The autorun doesn't work for me so i have to start DriveSentry by double clicking on the drive on My Computer.

Nice program. After removing all the programs out from the access rules: and setting options for the Advisor Automated Decision Options to No, it still auto allowing so called whitelisted programs. I think personally for someone as advanced as myself I would like to be able to choose what I want to allow, basically create my own white list as I go. I'm guessing that the signatures in the local data base is overiding my wanting to manually allow which programs are allowed. I really like this program though.

To me the pop ups are very poor. No good explanation that what is going on, by the pop ups.

Hey jmonge, I am guessing that the prior problem between Sandboxie and DriveSentry is now fixed? Used to give BSOD's back then.

Mine works nicely too. Have no problem during bootup anymore and doesn't clash with Defense+.

Hi evilscribble have you try fully uninstalling DriveSentry and reinstalling. Use a free tool such as CCleaner to clean the registries leftovers. And what version of DS are you using anyway. The pre-released version works fine now.
Yeah the icon are too large in my opinion.

Don't get too confident with it guys, It fails the zemana key logger test.

EDIT: I seriously notified them about a month ago and no replies.

    Kyle1420,

I doubt they would add keylogger protection as DriveSentry is not a full blown HIPS product. I think other users are using Comodo or Online Armour to compliment DS on this type of threat.

Well I tried DS a while back and it killed my vista with random BSOD.I waited it out a bit and taken another shot now and So far So very good.Question here though does DS run realtime AV engine where it may have a disagreement with Nod32 at some point in Time.
