    rainbow1112,

Do you have a link to any sample programs that are protected with Nprotect Gameguard and we will give it a test.

    Thank you ... Kate :)

Just to let you guys know that we plan to release a new version of DriveSentry later today on our website. This build fixes a few bugs  and has a funky new advisor screen. There will be two builds one with the local signatures database and one without.

and yes it's still free :D

    Thanks Kate.

Hi Kate, do you mean DriveSentry GoAnywhere? I don't see any new build with DriveSentry you are telling.

Is it normal for DriveSentry to take a long time to load during bootup. Even shutting DriveSentry down and restating will takes loads of CPU resource and time consuming before it normalize. This happens both with Comodo and Outpost Firewall. I don't have any other HIPS program except that came along with the FW.

As much as I like DS, I had to remove it this morning for now.
I have tried every version including the new release.
Every one just eats memory, the new version being the worst.
The longer my computer runs the more it uses.
John from their tech support has been very helpful.
Thinks its a memory leak and is being looked into.
I even uninstalled my programs just to make sure there is no conflict.

    Running XP SP2. Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80Ghz

Just curious if anyone else has had this problem or is my system just being touchy?

    Thanks, Dan

    Thanks jmonge.

It has to be my system.
I was starting to think that just because I haven't seen any other complaints in regards to this issue.

    Back to the drawing boards.
Gotta figure this one out. :)

some times it is compabilities isues, that can lead to memory leak.for exaple it says in my pc that is comodo is not compatible with ProcessGuard ad DriveSentry, also comodo says that i already have kerio firewall which was long time remove,i am guesing it left some left overs.i intalled pctools firewall and it is fine.

I too had issues with the memory leak. It's strange really. On my XP pro (sp3) pc the memory did not climb. On my Vista Home (sp1) pc the memory would climb. The latest version is the most memory intensive. Probably due to the new map instead of the pie chart. I un-installed it and replaced it with Avast Home only the standard shield and cyberhawk.

    Forget my last post.
It was DefenseWall that was preventing GoAnywhere from loading correctly.
