Anyone tried Try&Decide from TI11 to decide about TI 2009 by installing the trial in a Try&Decide environment?

    Can't possibly work. TI Home 2009 will need a reboot. That does't work in TI11 T & D.

    Are you sure Mustang?

As T&D in 2009 uses a sort of virtual drive by 'flagging' in the same way Standby and Hibernation work, then software that requires a reboot would work. I admit, that as v11 requires a SZ to run T&D, I can't see that bit working in a 2009 T&D, an experiment I never thought of trying.

    bodgy,

Well, I think you would need to be insane to try it.

Here's another sad fact. T & D in 2009 does depend on the secure zone in the release version!!!!!! In the beta's it didn't. What a disappointment! Why do they always screw things up so badly between the last beta and the release versions? Did you see the disappearing USB card reader problem (fixed in beta 2) is back in the release version?

    Doh!

I misread the OP's question, I thought Como was asking if TI 11 could be trialed in 2009, I now realise it was the other way around.

How disappointing about the reversion of T&D, I wonder what other beta reports or internal politics caused then to whip out the potential good stuff and revert to older code. Perhaps, there were some tweaks needed which would have set the release date back?
