    Hello,

Try doing a clean installation of ESET Smart Security and excluding whatever objects on the server you normally exclude.

    Sir,

Its a Online machine I cant keep uninstalling and reinstalling with restarts everytime will affect operations. This update freezed all my machines in the network not only my server. Other machines did fine after a restart but the server was freezing on the applying computer setting screen. had to restore it back to last known good config wherein the ESS logo was on the screen frozen. Currently i have uninstalled ESS on the server.

    Hello,

It might be that one of the services being handled by the server is incompatible with ESET Personal Firewall. In that case, installing ESET NOD32 Antivirus might be a better choice for this computer, as ESET Personal Firewall is targeted for workstations and not servers.

    Regards,

After the module update on the 22nd the firewall from time to time blocks incoming and outgoing for like 8-10 mins at a time. This happens around 7-8 times a day. I know it's the firewall because my connection begins to work fine again right after I disable the firewall.

Eset REALLY needs to do a revision update for it.
