    Hi ..
I am from Brazil and I am here to see if there is even a virus or at Everest and only one false-positive.

Several people in the world that use nod32 3.0 Everest and are having trouble accessing the Everest after the last update of nod

I use the nod32 2.5 and have problems with Everest.

    Thank you!

sorry for writing ... I'm still learning English

Yup it detects my everest.exe as a virus aswell, tested on all my old versions and newly downloaded ones. Definitely a false positive, and it is revolving around the update earlier today of Nod32, im using the newest v3.

There is a thread about it on the everest forums here:

    Hello,

I cannot reproduce the problem using the trial edition of Lavalys Everest Ultimate v4.60 and ESET Smart Security v3.0.672.0 with virus signature update 3466. Are you still experiencing the issue?

    Regards,

    Aryeh Goretsky

    Hi,

I have not any problems with Everest here.
I usually post the updates for Everest here on the Wilders board, in the Software forum-section.
Be assured that I would raise alarm in case I would found any alarm.

    My system:
    XP-home SP3 Dutch

I am a licenced user of Everest Ultimate.
I have several older install files on my computer.

    I run NOD32 2.70.39 on access.
I do at least once a day a full on demand scan with NOD32.
It has found nothing, nada; neither on access or on demand.
And I have more than one malware scanner....

    To be sure:

Here is the MD5 checksum of the "self-installing EXE package":

The file D:\EVEREST Ultimate Edition\Version 4_60_1500_0\everestultimate460.exe has the following Checksum(s)

    MD5 - 468D69AA5540CD2D233B6015FE5012ED
