Do you Call This Support

    Hi

    I had escalted a username pwd issue to eset customer support may be 4 or 5 days ago. This is the reply i got. Wake Up support.

    Update for Case #157870 - "says username password invalid"

    An ESET Customer Care Representative has updated this case with the following information:

    Hello,
    the license you mentioned was purchased from ADAOX Middle East. When a license is due for renewal, ESS/EAV starts notifying you 10 days before it runs out and shows a link to the renewal page (in your case, you should be redirected to ADAOX's purchase page).

    No marcos my comment was about this

    I just bought the product a week back.

    Actually, yeah I do call this support. ESS and EAV both give you multiple warnings when your subscription is about to expire. There is no way you could not know that it is about to expire. When the expiration date approaches, simply starting the program triggers a renewal reminder w/link.

    we're still in 2008, thats the problem :). do you have your system date set properly?

    I've tested your license and was able to download ESS Business Edition fine. Please make sure that you enter the username and password exactly as they appear in the registration email as both are case sensitive. There's no problem with authentication on our side.

    Again Marcos this issues was raised by me a week back and the issue was sorted out immediatley within hours(a week back). But the support had sent me a mail today that my license expired on sep 2009 what i meant

    My issue was sorted out 5 or 6 days back. But the mail form support came today:)

    lol, oh i get it, you thought you found an error and tried to make fun of customer care.
