I read through the Zemana Keylogger test thread ( https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=218451 ) and I was wondering why no one mentioned how Zemana's AntiLogger performs in the real world. Does anyone here have it installed? I'd like to get some feedback on this product since Zemana was never on my radar until their test utility came out.

I want to try it out, but I want to make sure Zemana isn't some fly by night company. I don't want to sound ignorant, but is Turkey safe for security software?

I have it (check my sig) and think it is great.

Previously to cover leyloggers etc, I had used SpyCop, but did not bother renewing my license when it ran out as I dont believe it was any better than F-Secure in detecting these and it has no real time cover or prevention.

I own and have used SSM and A2 (which has a HIPS) as I felt I needed the sort of cover a HIPS gave. I found SSM slowed my system too much though.

Zemana covers what I want (my main purpose of having HIPS etc was to cover keyloggers, screen capture etc) and it worke quietly and with no system drag. It has detected every keylogger etc I have tried, so I feel safe.

The only issue I have found is that it wont work with A2 Beta - system crashes, but I gues thats a conflict in the HIPS function.

In short its my second fave security app after F-Secure.

In terms of the company - who knows if any of them will be here in a year or so - you could run an Experian check on them! I dont believe them being in Turkey is an isue - the app seems solid and professional to me.

    Hope this helps

    Chris

I've installed it a few days ago on my mother's computer and so far it seems ok. Not only it covers keyloggers protection but it acts a bit like a behavioral blocker. It can intercepts dll injections and kernel drivers loading.

With very low memory usage and no slowdown on the system you should give it a try...

    this made is turkey
its new soft, i am beta tester and its better many other soft
    its not only antikeylogger
its has screenlogger protection, ssl logger protection, soft hips protection
    its good but not perfect

it can stopped all keylogger leak test and commerical keylogger
but cant stop some real malware example bifrost

if you have comodo d+, online armor, no need zemana

but zemana has v2 alpha version.
v2 alpha has many new component; leak proof firewall, improved hips

and zemana internet security is planned. it has a sunbelt vipre tech.

I used it with KIS 2009. A word of caution, do disable the "System Protection" module of Zemana prior to use. It will cause some instability with KIS 2009.
Other than that is was decent enough. It detected ATK (all tests), but failed with some commercial keylogger (for which I have raised a bug report).

Overall, quite a decent product. With relatively low resource usage.

    Hi, all:

Apparently, there is an universal one-year free key available to all.

I have d/l and installed the trial, then entered the key, BINGO, one solid year for free.

I read somewhere that these problems are to be solved with v2 later this spring. Anyhow, I got the free 1-year beta key and I like this prog...light and seems to me as a good extra layer...Will test it and see how it performs...

Here is the thing. I dont think it is worth a damn. With SafeSpace it use to show keyloggers and there were plenty of them over a day of srfing. With this product, it has never found anything. Duh.

C'mon. It passed all seven keylogger test via AKLT 3. Where's your sense of adventure? You get a year's free trial. If you don't like, dump it. I can tell you KeyScrambler still has problems even after all its releases.

I have it, but I still say the reporting from SafeSpace was more accurate. Just my 2 cents.

I had the same problem with Yahoo Messenger auto-starting w/out my permission. Online Armor and Zemana might had a conflict with each other. My XP license is good for 365 days, but Vista is good for 400 something days! :D

Will there be different versions of Zemana when 2.0 comes out? I have Antivir and Online Armor on my system now. No need for a security suite here.

The way I feel about programs like AntiLogger is, if they're going to charge $40 every year it had better be real damn good, if they want my hard earned cash. Now from what I've seen and actually tested myself, the program isn't even worth half that price. Ok, maybe a one time fee of $40, if they improve the program drastically, I could agree with that. But $40 every single year? Simply not worth it imo.

I could understand if they were constantly adding signatures or constantly making major improvements, then I can understand a yearly fee, but still under $40 would be a fairer price imo.

A program like AntiLogger isn't going to change all that much over the years most likely. Programs like AL usually don't. They may make a few improvements, then they plateau and not much more is added. Basically, the program stays the same and does the same thing year after year.

Programs like this should be either far cheaper (say $5 or $10 a year) or make it a one time fee. That's the fair approach to a program like this imo.

But hey, if there are some who want to pay $40 a year, then it's your cash down the toilet. I can think of far better uses for my money and it won't be wasted on those who try to take advantage of others by attempting to make the most profit they possibly can. Especially for a program that has not even come close to proving it's worth, in my eyes anyway.

As for beta tests with AL, no thanks. I'll help those who are feel are fair and honest in their dealings with others, not those who overcharge people and exaggerate as to what the program is really capable of. I'm not partial to helping the greedy make a product they can charge hard working people even more for.

If they drop the price of AL to a more fair level, perhaps a reasonably priced one time fee, and make some decent improvements, my opinions may change.

well i agree with u on the price bit, but i have never seen Zemana be dishonest... might be a bit overpriced but i also have not seen the exaggerate what it is capable of either looking at their site info. I dont use Antilogger anymore as i had an issue with it, but if i didnt i would still be using it and i think other than the high price, it is a great app.

I have to disagree with you, first off Zemana is two things - 1 anti keylogger 2 HIPS

They could lower the price a bit to 30 bucks or maybe even 20 but 5 or 10 yearly or lifetime is bogus, HIPS in general get updated all the time and you cant expect those people to live of nuts n water from the nearest forest

Would you start a business based on lifetime fees n make lets say 1 buck an hour? I think not

A day of surfing and plenty of keyloggers!!

I wish I could surf like this. Seriously if you are right, then those were legit keyboard acess blocked by SafeSpace and logged, nothing more than this.
