    Hello,

As far as I know, all applicable web pages were updated with the 3.0.672.0 version number information on Friday, August 22, 2008.

If you have seen a web page that has a different version number, please let me know.

    Regards,

I was looking at NOD as my Kaspersky license will expire soon. I have been running Vista 64 with 4 gig for over a year now with no problems. Kaspersky has ran without incident, it sounds like I should stick with Kaspersky at this point. Thank you all for the heads up. I also want to point out how great it is to see so many people on Vista64. I love the OS and don't understand why there is so much ill will towards it.

    Hello,
Could you please be more specific as to what issue you've run into while trialing EAV on Vista x64?

    Hello,

There was an issue with earlier versions of ESET NOD32 Antivirus that lead to a bugcheck (BSOD). The latest version of the software, v3.0.672.0, fixes this issue.

I have used ESET's software works on x64 systems with 4GB and 8GB of RAM and it works reliably.

You may wish to obtain a trial license and test the software to make sure it works in your operating environment. Keep in mind if you had other anti-virus software previously installed it will need to be completely removed before installing ESET's software.

    Regards,

FYI, as far as I can tell the trial version of NOD32 for 64-bit systems is still out of date. If you fill out the forms you will not get v3.0.672.0... If I remember correctly I tried this 2 days ago.

    Hello,

I would suggest contacting a reseller, distributor or the nearest ESET office and arranging for a trial of the licensed version of the software. That should give you credentials to download and use v3.0.672.0 for thirty days.
