    oh men!

couple of days ago KIS tagged anyDVD as trojan downloader

after an hour, uTorrent is also tagged as trojan downloader.

i guess the senior analyst already resigned from Kasp Lab and new junior analyst take over the job.....result lots of FP :D

Not to throw fuel on the fire, but there was a LONG time between updates yesterday too (15 hours on my machine). I wonder if they were going through a scrub to fix some of this stuff.

Still, I'd prefer FPs that can be fixed to getting False Negatives. Guess I'm a fanboy :D

It also detects a little tool from a dutch dating site as heur.trojan. I reported to Kaspersky and they confirmed it is not a virus. But it is still detected, so I wrote again, they told me it should be alright but it still detects it. So I don't know, I switched to Kaspersky because I believed they would most likely listen to costumers and fix things quickly. Now with all those false positives and in my case no fix at all .. I start doubting.

Man, KAV is good at detecting threats, but the way they treat their customers really sucks. So don't expect they will listen to you carefully.
