I don't know Freeware files' history, but from the WOT scorecard I see that they have an excellent reputation with a high confidence level. Our add-on is on their site, and they have given us some pretty good numbers. Site Advisor reports a small amount of "minor annoyances."

The other one, CE Infosys, is also fairly high on the WOT scorecard. The confidence level is not so high, but it's probably because it's a smaller site and based in Germany. SA reports this one to be good too.
