Flash Killer works fine with Internet Explorer. How do I stop Flash pop-ups if I am using the Firefox browser?

This indeed works fine. But I do not really like the white boxes which appear which give you the chance to see the ad or to delete. Is there some setting I can make on the Firefox browser which will just stop all adobe flash popups from loading?

Dunno really, never seen a flash pop-up with AdBlock Plus. Perhaps it's a better choice.

If I'm not mistaken that option in SpywareBlaster works for IE only.

The NoScript extension for Firefox allows for the blocking of Adobe Flash, among other things; you might give it a try and see if it suits your needs.

You might want to uncheck the box to "show placeholder icon" for blocked objects if you don't want to see them and check the box to "collapse blocked objects".

Thank you Firebytes - and all the others. The NoScript was exactly what I was looking for - all Adobe Flash pop-ups are now blocked.

You mentioned Flash Killer for internet explorer. I've look around, briefly, and I could only find references to Silverlight.

Could you please mention where I can find 'Flash 'Killer' for IE 7 ?

    Install Flashblock extension for FF.

A very easy solution for a very easy problem.
