    Nice Overhaul Tall Emu!

But there are some problems which let me go back to OA 2.1:

From time to time (very often) Internet-Connection is simply disconnected and stays disconnected (OA shows that there is a connection established to port xyz but nothing else happens - only the error-page in firefox or that there can't be established a connection in outlook XP).

I use NOD 32 with Intercept Loopback enabled.

Hope you get this fixed before the public release :)

    Greetings

    Timo

Sorry for the very late reply, no I don't run avast. I shall try to isolate the program, maybe it isn't OA's fault.

Edit: After disabling every program that runs with my computer (well, everything that can be disabled in msconfig) My Vista SP1 boots up 25 seconds slower. Do people who use Vista recognize this problem?

just installed the most recent version on my vista laptop, failed to load on boot so uninstalled, now I can not get a wireless signal, shut it down & will work on it to get the wireless restored, I have no idea what went wrong usual setup but on boot just said it would not load...

What can I say. While new Vista install booted very fast here (with OA installed), it then started to boot slower and slower after every new program insatlled. I think this is rather MS way than anything else.

If you posted here or sent the FW logs with "blocked events" to Mike you'd help to fix it much faster :)

Generally many people run NOD32 with OA without much troubles, but the both should be tweaked a bit as far as I know.

Does anyone know how to make Online Armor the default Firewall in Vista OS, or is that not possible to do? Maybe that can be done in future updates?

I wonder if you have to. In XP, the system FW shuts off when OA is installed. I can't think of a reason they would change that in Vista.

If u turn windows FW off, Security Center reports that it is not being protected by FW. Thought maybe could be made to plug into Security Center.

You should report that on the OA forum. But even if the Security center doesn't report it, it's running.
