    SBS2003.

    NOD Enterpise 2& exchange

in sbs2003 the clients show windows firewall as greyed out because group policy is set by default.

How does this affect NOD on the clients? How do i allow clients to update thru the firewall, what changes do i need to make?

I'm asking because I can't see any clients in RAC, even though the successful install list shows all the clients.

the firewall on xp only looks at incoming connections...

so, as your clients go outbound to update that will be permitted through the firewall by default...

the only stuff going the other way, that i can think of (and i'm a bit of a newb when it comes to eset), would be if you wanted to push out an installation package from the server to a client...

have a look in the deployment manual to double check what ports this uses, and then add them into the gp as exceptions?

    hope this helps! :)
