    Hi there,

First off, please forgive me if this post is nothing but nonsense.

OTScanIt.exe is being flagged by NOD32, it is a well known analysis tool by OldTimer.

    ~VirusTotal link removed per Policy. - Ron~

I'm not sure if there is anything you can do since it seems to be a generic detection (I'm guessing it's being flagged due to the way it is packed?) but I don't understand enough about this stuff hehe.

It has already been submitted automatically.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Hi Mike,
please compress the file with WinRAR/ZIP, protect it with the password "infected" and submit it to samples[at]eset.com with "False positive" in the subject. We will check it out and fix it quickly if FP is confirmed.

Thanks for your reply. File has been sent.

My apologies for not looking over the Policy before I posted.

I sent three days ago OTScanIt via email to three companies, ESET, Grisoft and PrevX.

PrevX fixed false positive within minutes.

Grisoft fixed false positive in less than two hours.

But I haven't heard anything from ESET and my NOD32 still tells that OTScanIt
is probably unknown NewHeur_PE virus

I haven't heard anything from ESET either, the file was sent about a week ago as per your instructions :)
