As a fans of kapersky antivirus and lns,I find Incompatibility of LnS and Kaspersky Anti-Virus.I try many kav versions including in kav6,kav7,kav8.Your solve ways early can not completely solve it problem. Please come out a new version of LNS to solve it.

    Hi cleverapple1,

Before talking about a new edition, I need to understand what the issue is exactly.

So far the only known issue is with KAV 7.0.1.321 and further releases.
Nobody else mentioned still issues after using the patch I've provided, or issues with previous releases of KAV (and without the patch). So I suspect we are faced to another different and unknown issue.

So, could you send me some minidump files (at lnssupport@soft4ever.com) and we will investigate. Also tell us which version of Look 'n' Stop and which driver you were using when the crash corresponding to the minidump file happened.

    Thanks,

    Frederic

Minidump files are created in c:\windows\minidump after a crash occurred.
Probably you have still some files there, just send us some of them (2 or 3) for different dates, assuming they correspond to the crashs you are mentioning.

Also I guess you are using LnS 2.06 + patch described here:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=197973&highlight=kapersky
(you can check the version of c:\windows\system32\drivers\lnsfw1.sys, "Product version" in the file properties should be 4.03 k1 or upper, k2,k3).

    Thanks,

    Frederic.

5.03 is the version of "lnsfw.sys" (the other driver).
Could you check again the version of "lnsfw1.sys" ?

I've received the minidump files, and I will look at them, but if your are not using a driver with version "4.03 kx" (x=1,2,3), it is "normal" you get this kind of crash with Kav (however it should be with particular versions only).

Here is the link to the k3 version (this is the most recent driver available for lnsfw1.sys):
    http://looknstop.soft4ever.com/Beta/lnsfw1/LNSFW1-k3.zip

It contains another fix related to the DLL filtering.
Maybe it will solve your case as well (I haven't checked yet the Minidump files).

I've analyzed the Minidump file and the lnsfw1.sys driver is not involved (at least directly) in the crashes.

So probably updating to the "4.03 k3" for lnsfw1.sys won't help.

Except the last file you sent, all crashes occurred in "afd!AfdFastConnectionReceive" and the process "livesrv.exe" is referenced.
This seems to be a BitDefender process to watch for new versions.
In addition to Kav and Look 'n' Stop, do you have also some BitDefender products installed ? (maybe there is conflict between all these security programs).
