    Hello,

I've just a problem with the new version 3 and Windows 2000 SP4:

On my computer every user is restricted user and I use the admin only for adminstration.

I uninstall the old version (2.7), cleaned registry and uninstalled some remaining entries in device manager.
Installed new Version 3. Everything went alright, no problems.

Then I logged on with restricted user, also no problems.
Then try to log off and my computer freezes, only power off.
Restart and log on as admin and log off, everything ok.
Log in as restricted user again, log off, computer freezes again.

Uninstall Version 3, cleared registry and uninstalled some remaining entries in device manager. Install Version 2.7 and everything went alright, also as restricted user.

Does anybody what's up with this?

    Thank You.

No responce ... seems to say goodbye to NOD :'(

It's a great pity, NOD did a good and safe job for the last 3 years

I don't want to grumble and troll, but at the moment NOD V3 is useless for me, and in June my licence is running out. So there is no time to wait and check new versions.

Im sorry you have not received a response yet. It could be that people are still trying to figure out what is causing the problem.

Might I ask, if you have been using 2.7 with no problems for the past 3 years, what makes you want to upgrade to 3.0?
Version 2.7 will be around for quite awhile and is still supported.
Version 3.0 is still in its infancy and there will be bugs found here and there, but they will be fixed in time. If you would prefer to use what you know works, keep using 2.7. You can always upgrade to the newer version at any time.

As far as the freezing goes, what other programs do you have installed that run in real-time along with NOD?

    Hello Capp

yes I tought already about staying with NOD V2.7, because of I can't decide on any other program o_O But I'm not on the end with thoughts.
First at sunday I will make holidays for 10 days the lake of garda and after that I will think about it again

Normally I'm running ThreadFire in real-time.
I tried already an installation of NOD V3 with uninstalled ThreadFire;) but it was the same.
