XMON / Exhange 2003 problem

We have had a problem the last couple of days with NOD32 XMON somehow getting stuck and stopping messages from coming and going through our exchange server. When I check tasks in the task manager the processer utilization is stuck hard at 25% for the NOD32KRN.EXE process. Last time this happend I checked NOD32 XMON and message scanning seamed frozen.

Once I restart the NOD32KRN.EXE process email messages again start to flow. We have had this happen about 7 or 8 times over the last couple of days.

Has anyone run into this problem or know about a fix?

We have had to babysit this problem and I don't want to have to babysit this all weekend.

 

Perhaps you'd like to disable background scanning.
This helped me, it dropped the cpu usage from 100% to 7%

under xmon, setup, uncheck background scanning

Disable background scanning was the answer i got from ESET support. It took me from 25% constant CPU and no mailflow and no RPC activity to 1-2% and normal mail flow and RPC activity.

 

So, when is this going to be fixed?
