Unremovable files

Some days ago I restore a backup into a folder of my HD but I think at a certain time the PC crashed. I think this is the cause of the unremovable files, which are a big part of all the extracted ones.

I've tried to remove those files/folders in many many ways, without success:

- KillBox: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/killbox.php
- Unlocker: http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker
- HijackThis
- killing explorer.exe (http://www.petri.co.il/delete_undeletable_files.htm)
- ...

When you try to delete one file Windows XP says you can't remove that file because you can't access it, and then it says you should check about full disk or protected write-mode or file in use..

Could someone help me, please?

Boot into Safe Mode to delete that file.

 

I already tried to delete files from safe mode, without success!

I really think it's very hard to remove them, I don't know what to do now..

If that fails, then download Ubuntu LiveCD and boot into Ubuntu. From Ubuntu scroll to your Windows partition and remove files.

Sorry but with my dial-up I can't download big data (Ubuntu LiveCD), anyway I have another Linux bootable CD (Knoppix). The problem is that I can't use it! After launched have I to mount Hard Disk C to see my Windows HD? How to? I've tried but I can't.. and I read it's only read mode.. oh, help! :-(

Isn't there a simpler way to remove these bad bad files?!

Found the cause and the solution!

It's a permission issue then you need to seize ownership of the problem folder..
