DS is not a traditional av, and runs alongside of most other av's peacefully. It conflicted with v7. Curious if 2009 is compatible now?:thumb:

Officially released on Kaspersky.com, licenses are for sale. Now it should be a commercial release (not released on kasperksy.ru though).

Maybe it works if you clear ALL browser data?

Nope...not even if doing that. I have even been on the site and scoured the site map option but no v2009. Not even under beta testing links. It's a mystery...a really mystery! o_O :gack:

Have you tried with different browsers? Firefox, Opera, Safari....bla bla bla?...Of course you have.....It must be something about where you live in the world, it's my only explanation. You're "banned" if you're from UK or something?!.....Right?o_O

    Cheers

Guys, it's IP based.... UK peeps won't see the pages until it's released on our little island. Nothing to do with cache.

Yep...but it's not that...You're from Albania right?....So your IP shows that you're from there, not UK or US. When Baldric tries, he's IP shows that he's from UK and therefor he's "denied" access to version 2009.

    Cheers

So I can enter from a "in-the-middle-of-nowhere" country like Albania and people from UK and US can't... Cool. :D

Just joking, I understand. Too bad for US and UK users, of course they can download from the FTP server (which is the same) and user either their 6.0 or 7.0 license. :)

Well, tried it and they still don't get along.....:'( I removed DS and have been running KAV since last night. They may have a winner with this one, makes for a hard decision... :doubt: Dunno, still feel that DS coupled with Avira or Dr. Web will be hard to beat. Either way Kaspersky has one good looking GUI!!!
    Good Job!!:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I live in Australia and at the moment I can see the updated page with KIS & KAV 2009 on one computer but on my other pc, all I can see (through no lack of trying) is the old page with the v7 links.
Something else I've noticed is that v7 is significantly cheaper to purchase multiple licences compared to v8(2009) however if you puchase the v7 licence you can use it to register v8. eg for KAV 7 with 5pcs @ 2yrs it's $149.95 (usa.kaspersky.com). For KAV 2009 with 5pcs @ 2yrs it's $224.00 (www.kaspersky.com) (In $, but not sure whose currency)
I'm going to buy v7 licences before they remove the option from the site.
