I'm using Snap Deploy 2.0 and trying to do a load of Optiplex 755s - which Snap Deploy 2.0 doesn't recognize the Network card.

I've found Numerous posts about this specific machine, and apparently Acronis will EMAIL you a TEMP link to a fix. I don't understand WHY they only have this as a TEMP link - heck if lots of people are having the problem, but a permenant link on your site to the fix!

I put in a "ticket" with them yesterday, I HOPE I get a reply back soon - I really need to get this job DONE.

Anybody out there HAPPEN to have this fix (specifically for the 755s) that they could share with me, so I don't have to wait on Acronis?

Hi Soren, our batch of 755's were recognised by both Snap Deploy 2 and then the upgraded SD3 straight away. We're using the Intel gigabit 825xx cards. Don't get me wrong we have plenty of other problems but recognising the NIC is not one of them! Good luck.

Thanx for the reply. My 755s, I believe are using the same NIC as yours.

I'm also using - Snap Deploy 2.0 (updated to most current version as of last week)- and when I try to Network boot, the computer FINDS my Acronis Server, but then does nothing. It doesn't LIST anything under the Network card setting (for all my older Optiplex 745s, the NIC IS listed under the network card setting at this point in Acronis). It's Monday morning morning, STILL haven't heard back from Acronis, I'm praying they get me an answer today.

Upgrade to SD3. This resolved the issue for me. I also have Dell 755's.
