I was just checking my scan logs and found that it had detected a threat:

On Demand Scan at 5am 5/22/08 found:

    C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSBin\Sims2.exe - probably a variant of Unknown virus - unable to clean

    And a Real-Time Scan found:

5/22/2008 9:55:00 AM Real-time file system protection file C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSBin\Sims2.exe probably a variant of Unknown virus unable to clean NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Event occurred during an attempt to access the file by the application: C:\PROGRA~1\ESET\ESETNO~1\egui.exe.

Today I went to http://virusscan.jotti.org/ and checked the file and here are the results:

    ~Jotti result removed per Policy. - Ron~

All Nod32 scans since (daily) have come up with no problems

Could this be a false positive due the the 3119 update issue?

I submitted the file through the program "submit file" option

I have had problems with other software detecting MANY false positives that is why I switched to NOD32, this is the very first problem that NOD32 has detected in over a year

Here is the HijackThis Scan I just ran

Yes to update the virus database & modules. Not sure what you mean "cleaning the cache"
