I tried Avira 8 promo, but updates fail giving a file corruption error, which i think is this:

    http://forum.avira.com/thread.php?threadid=5259

I deleted the file as suggested there, i also uninstalled with Revo uninstaller and used reg cleaners and reinstalled, but i still got the corruption message, so i got back to AVG.

    Anyone else had this?

For those who still like it:

    ~Link removed per Policy - Ron~

You might have to install it twice and drop the key manually in the Antivir program files.
Installation can give you a headache.

Well, who cares? It's not going to be followed anyway. It's a good offer, and people will use it either they are readers or not.

I agree, people will still use it wether they are readers or not.

Well it is an issue of policy here. We don't want the terms of the Avira offer to be violated. If you really want it, google is your friend.

Yes, and I respect that. But some people overreact to much if other people get it, even if it's only to ComputerActive readers.
