Eset Nod32 v3.0 Program Update - Auto or Manual

I am currently using version 3.0.650.0.

On MajorGeeks.com I discovered a newer version 3.0.657.

Doesn't the program automatically update itself to the latest version besides just updating the signatures? It updates the signatures but not the program itself.

I set the Advanced Option for Update in the GUI to always update program component but I am now updating the program manually from the eset website.

Could someone clarify the procedure?

ESET has not release a program component update (PCU) yet. As soon as a PCU is ready, your EAV will be updated automatically. If you'd like to update to a newer version immediately, download it from ESET's download page and install it manually.

 

I just got a pop up saying program modules were updated but thats not the same as what your looking for as my version still shows 3.0.650.

I just updated the program manually from the ESET website.

Shouldn't the program update be loaded onto Eset servers and available to those of us who are registered users as a priority auto update within the program before the rest of the world like MajorGeeks so we would not have to do manual updates and manual install?
