After first boot this morning Control Panel showed as just a blank Window. A reboot brought back the various options but clicking on "update" gives nothing and the "event log" is blank. Any ideas?

    dunsurfin,

Impossible to comment on that one from a distance. I would recommend uninstalling NOD32 and download a fresh copy from the latest version (keep your license info nearby!). Update after install right away.

    regards.

A second reboot has cleared the problem. I suspect that "regseeker" may be the cause - I cleared out a few problems it "found" last night but restored them before the second reboot.

Glad to hear you have found the culprit and all's well again ;)
