Hiya Folks. I've been having a minor problem lately. I recently got Verizon DSL. I've noticed that whenever I try to check my inbox with my mail client (yahoo), the page refuses to load up. But if I turn off my firewall (Sygate), the page loads up just fine. I didn't have this problem when I had 56k, and yahoo worked just fine with sygate. Does anyone know anything I can do to solve this problem without compensating my security?

    Thanks for your time

    Hi Brando Ikari

Anything in the Sygate logs that might give an idication as to what is being blocked?

Any other recent changes to your set up/system other that DSL?

    Regards,

    CrazyM

Woah, it looks like I must have changed the access rules for one of the windows services (forgot which one it was). Once I allowed it to access the internet, yahoo mail worked with both internet explorer and mozilla. Thanks alot for the help :)
